How to Open Task Scheduler
View automated Windows tasks and their recent result.
Follow the steps in order and stop if the screen or target does not match what is described. Use administrator access only when the task requires it.
Open Task Scheduler
Press Windows + R, enter taskschd.msc, and press Enter.
Command
taskschd.mscOpen the library
Select Task Scheduler Library.
Inspect a task
Read its Triggers, Actions, Conditions, Settings, Last Run Time, and Last Run Result.
Do not disable unfamiliar tasks
Microsoft and application tasks can provide maintenance, updates, backup, or security functions.
Use history when needed
Enable task history for future runs only if the additional logging is appropriate for the system.
