Privacy policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what Screensie collects, why we collect it, and the choices available to you when you use our websites, applications, and remote access services.

2. Information you provide

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, account details, and password verifier. When you subscribe, payment details are handled by the payment provider used at checkout; Screensie does not need to store your full payment card number.

3. Device and session information

To register and connect devices, Screensie processes PCIDs, device names, platform and version details, stable installation identifiers, connection capabilities, online status, session timestamps, and security events. We use this information to authenticate connections, show your saved computers, meter free usage, provide support, and protect the service.

4. Remote session content

Screensie establishes authenticated direct peer connections between authorized devices. Screen, keyboard, mouse, file-transfer, chat, and technician payloads are end-to-end protected and are not relayed through or stored by the Screensie server. If a direct peer path cannot be established, the session fails closed.

5. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure Screensie, authenticate users and devices, deliver requested connections, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, troubleshoot failures, communicate service changes, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use remote-session content to build advertising profiles.

6. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help operate hosting, networking, authentication, payments, or support; when required by law; or when necessary to protect users, the service, or the public. Providers receive only the information needed for their function and are expected to protect it.

7. Retention and deletion

Account, device, billing, and audit records are retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You may request account deletion through your account support channel. Some records may remain for a limited period where required for security, accounting, or legal reasons.

8. Your choices

You can update account details, remove saved computers, stop device access, cancel a subscription, and request access or correction of account information through the service. Browser controls can manage local storage and cookies, although disabling necessary storage may prevent sign-in or saved settings from working.

9. Security

We use access controls, encryption, authenticated sessions, and operational safeguards appropriate to the service. You also have an important role: protect your account password, static passwords, PCIDs, and quick links, and do not grant access to people you do not trust.

10. Children and changes

Screensie is intended for adults and organizations, not for children to use independently. We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version and effective date will always be posted here.

11. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the support contact available from your Screensie account.
