Delete your account while signed in

  1. Sign in to Screensie on Screensie.com or in the Screensie client.
  2. Open Settings or the signed-in Account page.
  3. Find the account section below Log out and select Delete account and data.
  4. Read the permanent-deletion warning and type DELETE exactly.
  5. Select Delete permanently.
Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Active subscription renewals are cancelled before deletion completes. Refunds are not provided, and any remaining paid subscription time or account entitlement is lost immediately.

02

What the deletion removes

The deletion removes the owner account and its Screensie account data, including user profiles and linked social-login identities, sign-in tokens, groups, saved computers, registered devices, Quick Links, session records, account audit records, support records, and Screensie subscription records associated with that account.

Deleting the Screensie account does not erase files, operating-system accounts, browser data, or other content stored on computers that used Screensie. Uninstall Screensie separately from each computer if you no longer want the endpoint software installed.

03

Limited information that may be retained

Screensie may retain narrowly limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or accounting. Permanent PCID security reservations are retained so an identifier previously assigned to one computer cannot later be reassigned to somebody else. Payment processors may independently retain transaction records under their own legal obligations and privacy policies.

Deleted account data may remain temporarily in encrypted disaster-recovery backups until those backups rotate out under the normal backup schedule. It is not restored to active service except as necessary for disaster recovery, security, or legal obligations.

04

If you cannot sign in

Use the password-reset link on the sign-in screen first. If you still cannot access the account, email support@screensie.com from the email address associated with the account and request account deletion. Screensie may require additional identity or account-ownership verification before processing the request.

For Facebook or Instagram sign-in, deleting the Screensie account removes the linked social identity from Screensie's active account records. You may also remove Screensie from the connected-app settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.
