How to Find Your IP Address in Windows
Find the local IPv4 address assigned to a Windows computer.
Follow the steps in order and stop if the screen or target does not match what is described. Use administrator access only when the task requires it.
Open Command Prompt
Open Start, type Command Prompt, and select it.
Run ipconfig
Enter ipconfig and press Enter.
Command

A list of network adapters appears.
Find the active adapter
Use the Wi-Fi or Ethernet section that has a Default Gateway. Read its IPv4 Address.
Distinguish local and public addresses
The displayed private address identifies the PC on the local network; it is usually not the public internet address.
