How to Restart the Print Spooler
Restart the Windows service responsible for print queues.
Follow the steps in order and stop if the screen or target does not match what is described. Use administrator access only when the task requires it.
Open Services
Press Windows + R, enter services.msc, and press Enter.
Command
services.mscLocate the service
Find Print Spooler. Confirm the exact service name before changing anything.
Restart it
Right-click Print Spooler and select Restart. Administrator approval may be required.
Verify printing
Confirm that its status is Running, then send one test page.
