Which startup apps should I change?
Identify the app and why it starts before disabling it. Start with optional applications you recognize, and change one at a time. Security, backup and organization-managed software may need to remain active even if you do not open it manually.
Does disabling startup uninstall the app?
No. It changes automatic startup behavior; it does not remove the application. After the next sign-in, check that the intended app stays closed and that the user's normal work still functions. Re-enable it if a required workflow stops working.
