Screensie
TightVNC alternative

A remote-support workspace for technicians managing many PCs.

Screensie may fit when you want more than a direct viewer/server pairing: searchable device groups, online status, deployment enrollment and background administration are built around the remote session.

Traditional VNC versus a support workspace

A traditional VNC installation can be appropriate for direct access on a known network. A support business often also needs to enroll PCs, retain authorized connections, find them later, manage access credentials and diagnose them without disrupting the screen.

Screensie workflow

  1. Install Screensie normally or use the silent deployment template with an account email, group and static password.
  2. The PC appears in the authorized account and can be grouped and searched.
  3. Start visual remote control, use a quick link, or open Command Center for background work.
  4. Assign paid seats only to computers that initiate outbound support sessions.

Test before replacing anything

Check the security model, network behavior, image quality, input, multi-monitor needs, updates and recovery process on real machines. Keep a known recovery channel during migration.
