**Before you begin**

## Get the authorized password




Use the password supplied by the network owner. Do not try to bypass network access controls.




## Open known networks




Open Settings \> Network & internet \> Wi-Fi \> Manage known networks.




## Forget the old profile




Select the correct network and choose Forget.




## Reconnect




Select the network from the taskbar, choose Connect, and enter the new password carefully.




## Verify the network identity




Confirm the exact network name before entering credentials, especially where similarly named networks are visible.
