## Get the exact path




Ask the owner for the computer name and share name.




## Open File Explorer




Press Windows + E and select the address bar.




## Enter the UNC path




Enter the path in the form \\ComputerNameShareName and press Enter.

**Expected result**


Windows opens the share or asks for credentials.




## Sign in correctly




Use an account authorized on the computer hosting the share. Do not save credentials on a public or shared PC.
