## Is the wrong microphone or speaker selected?




Check input and output separately. A headset, monitor or Bluetooth device may appear alongside the built-in hardware. Select the intended device, then test playback or recording with the application where the problem occurs.




## Why does sound work in one app but not another?




Apps may use their own device, volume or permission settings. Compare the working app with the affected one before changing drivers. For microphone issues, check both the selected input and the application's permission to record.
